For The Sake of Your Mental Health

As someone who openly shares their journey with anxiety and previous struggles with suicidal ideations and depression, I emphasize the importance of prioritizing your mental health.

Your mental well-being is the cornerstone of truly living and the key to inner peace.

Over time, I’ve offered tips on nurturing a healthy mindset, and today, I’d like to reiterate these;

1. For the sake of your mental health, take mixed signals as a NO.

2. Remember, what you feed your mind matters. Be mindful of the content you consume and the people you follow on social media.

3. Sometimes, the challenges in your life have names.

4. Blocking, deleting, and unfollowing can be powerful forms of self-care.

5. Your trauma doesn’t excuse mistreating others.

6. Your trauma may not be your fault, but your healing is 100% your responsibility.

7. Self-love and self-care are how you reclaim your power.

8. Forgiveness does not require reconnection.

9. Don’t just force yourself to forget because suppressing your feelings is bound to have them resurface in one form or another. Choose healing. Your future self will thank you.

10. Rest is not a reward—it’s a necessity.

11. If the dream or goal brings constant distress, financial strain, or robs you of joy, it’s okay to reevaluate. Perhaps this is God’s way of saying “No” or “Not now.” No dream or goal is worth sacrificing your peace.

12. Normalize therapy.

and lucky #13: Check on yourself.

Sending love and light to all. 🌟
